Buffalo Wild Wings Original Hot Chicken Wings

A couple of weeks ago I made Buffalo Wild Wings Honey BBQ Chicken Wings for me and the kids when my husband was out of town, and they were so fun to make, and SO delicious, my husband asked if next time I would make his favorite Buffalo Wild Wings Original Hot kind. I always sneak one or two of his wings when we go there, {it’s about all the heat I can handle}, and these wings tasted the same! I loved them (well, a couple of them), he loved them… but what surprised me is how much my 7-year old daughter loved them! Now I have learned how fast, inexpensive, easy and delicious home made wings are, i’m feeling kinda silly for eating out there so much :-/ Now if I can just learn how to make Wing Stop’s fries….

Buffalo Wild Wings Honey BBQ Chicken Wings

Whenever my family and I eat out in town, we talk through all of our options for about 20 minutes, each one being shot down by someone, until we all eventually and mutually decide on Chicken Wings! And then we spend another 10 minutes trying to decide between Buffalo Wild Wings and Wing-Stop! Wing stop usually wins because it has a quieter atmosphere, and better fries… but the Honey BBQ Chicken Wings at Buffalo Wild Wings is the best! My little guy and I used to compete to see who could eat the most, but he beat me so much I quit, and then he started out-eating my husband too. My husband and I usually just stare in awe as these little people with sticky fingers, big blue eyes, and BBQ covered faces devour a huge plate of wings in an insanely short amount of time, it’s pretty cute, and inhuman!

New & Improved Bombay House Chicken Coconut Kurma

A month or two ago I updated my Bombay House Chicken Tikka Masala recipe (from my old Blog over at Mattawamum) using the suggestions that I got from my readers, and thought I would make a new and improved version of my Bombay House Chicken Coconut Kurma as well. I have tried and failed more times with this recipe than any other I have ever created, but after taking all the advice from my readers, I finally created the most legit, delicious, sweet, creamy, flavorful Kurma recipe that I am pretty proud of, excited to share, and totally addicted to! It was worth it. This is one of those rare recipes that I could just live off every day of my life and be totally happy! Continue reading

Nando’s Extra Hot Peri Peri Chicken

Growing up, one of my besties from South Africa was super excited when a Nandos opened up in our home town in Kent, England. Nandos is a South African chain restaurant that specializes in flame-grilled Mozambican-Portuguese style Peri Peri Chicken. it’s one of my fave’s, and the girls and I would go out for a “cheeky nandos” often. Then, when my American husband visited England, I introduced him to South African chicken, and he loved it too. Continue reading

New & Improved Bombay House Chicken Tikka Masala

On my last blog {mattawamum} I created a post for Bombay House’s Chicken Tikka Masala, which was by far my most popular recipe. I recently read through the comments section, and someone mentioned that Bombay House was confirmed to use fenugreek, a herb commonly used in Indian cooking that I had never heard of before. Since I am a huge perfectionist, and get bored really easily, I thought I would change up this recipe, in hopes to improve it. My husband’s motto in life is: “why mess with a good thing?” Which is scary, because this Bombay House Chicken Tikka Masala is one of his all time fave’s, but that’s why he needs me… because I like to mess with good things, and make them GREAT! Continue reading
